The Cadillac CT7 is no longer in production with Cadillac focusing on its ELR and Lyriq models. The CT7 was Cadillac’s first entrance into the world of electric model vehicles but was discontinued in 2018 with a few late production models still available in 2019. The CT7 came with a large 18 kWh battery pack, impressive for an earlier plug-in hybrid model. We receive requests for replacement or new Cadillac CT7 EV Chargers. The EV Chargers are light, portable and can be moved if you rent or plan to move house, as well as be used outside of the home where plugs are available e.g RV parks or other residences.
Recommendation: If you just got your Cadillac CT7 or are replacing a broken charger, we would recommend a level 1 NEMA 5-15 EV Charger. This is the most cost effective EV charger given the relatively small battery size for a plug-in and the acceptance rate (how fast the battery can accept charge). The charge times are fast with a vehicle charge in ~ 6 hours from empty and 3 hours from a 50% depleted battery
