Our level 2 NEMA 6-30 charger offers 1.5 to 2 times faster charging compared to the level 1 charger provided by car manufacturers (which is typically a standard 120-volt 12 amp charger). At EV Chargers USA, we provide a powerful 20 Amp Level 2 NEMA 6-30, 240-volt EV Charger that is compatible with all cars in the U.S.

A 20 amp EV charger delivers 5 kW of level 2 charging, providing approximately 15 miles of range per hour of charging. Even if your car doesn’t accept this power level, the charger will still function correctly, charging your vehicle at the rate that its battery can accept. Essentially, it is compatible with any EV except Tesla, but the charging rate may vary if your battery has a low charge acceptance rate. Unfortunately, this limitation is inherent to the vehicle and cannot be changed.

The 6-30 EV charger plug seamlessly connects to your existing standard household 3-pin 6-30 outlet, traditionally used for power tools but now adapted for EV charging purposes.
