We got this for our plug-in hybrid Prius. Works well and we are full charged over night when it is cheaper anyways. Saved money as used existing socket in the garage and plugged this charger in to start charging straight away. Power is 20 amp and definitely faster than our level 1 12 amp charger.

I’ve had the charger for about 3 months now so it is appropriate to provide a review. It is a pretty serious unit and about the same weight as the 110v EV that comes with many cars. It is surprisingly light so is portable or fixed if you think it’s better to leave it permanently installed somewhere. The unit feels very solid despite being lightweight. The charging and plug cables are very thick yet flexible.

Excellent quality EVSE for a 30-amp circuit breaker system! I have been using one for some time now and the quality is there to keep you safe. It will not draw more than 24-amps continuously keeping you safe on the 30-amp breaker and wiring system. I love them so much I bought two more to travel with, one for each car.
