The Subaru Crosstrek is Subaru’s first model with an on board battery pack and was the forerunner to its Subaru Solterra all electric vehicles. Unfortunately the initial model has a relatively small electric range due the size of the on-board lithium ion battery pack at 9 kWh but it does reduce the need for more expensive powerful EV Chargers. Our EV Chargers are light, portable and can be moved if you rent or plan to move house, as well as be used outside of the home where plugs are available e.g RV parks.
Recommendation: We recommend a level NEMA 5-15 Subaru CrossTrek EV Charger since it is economical and will plug into any residential 3 pin plug. Charge times are reasonable fast due to the battery size and it will be fully charged from empty in around 4 hours and in around 2 hours from a 50% battery
