BMW launched the XM as a long range plug-in hybrid EV. The XM is a high performance luxury SUV with a 30 kWh 417 volt lithium ion battery. The XM provides one of the longest all electric driving ranges in the luxury SUV bracket. We provide a range of EV plug types and EV chargers suited for the BMW XM. Our most popular EV chargers are the NEMA 14-50 and NEMA 6-50 level 2 EV chargers. Recommendation: We recommend the NEMA 14-50 or NEMA 6-50 240 volt level 2 BMW XM charger. Charge times are fast, which will help you avoid the lines at level 2 commercial charging stations and maximize your all electric driving range to save gasoline costs. The battery will be fully charged from empty in around 3.5 hours with a level 2 BMW XM EV Charger.
