BMW i5 EV Chargers

The eighth-gen BMW 5 Series arrived in 2023 and includes a pure electric variant called the BMW i5. The BMW i5 EV will compete against its other luxury peers including the Mercedes EQE, Tesla Model S, Lucid Air, as well as the Audi e-tron. BMW offers its all electric version in similar variants to its other electric fleet with an eDrive40, xDrive40, and M50 model options. The base variant has a sizeable 335 hp rear motor, while the other variants (the xDrive40 and M50 model options) have an additional motor to the front axel, providing higher performance and AWD. The i5 M50’s twin motor power will generate 400 kW (536 hp) of combined power. An 80+ kWh battery pack comes standard, providing an electric driving range of around 300 miles.
