The BMW i4 eDrive 40 launch in 2022 with a great reception from early buyers. The base i4 eDrive40 produces 335 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Like other electric vehicles in the BMW fleet, it is capable of fast charging speeds due to the on-board charging. We receive requests for replacement or new BMW i4 eDrive 40 EV Chargers. The EV Chargers are light, portable and can be moved if you rent or plan to move house, as well as be used outside of the home where plugs are available e.g. RV parks or perhaps even other residences. Recommendation: If you look to keep your battery at full charge, seek to avoid range anxiety and take frequent trips (so need fast charging), or want to complete charging during off peak and super off peak times (40% cheaper) we recommend our level 2 NEMA 14-50 9.6 kWh 40 amp BMW i4 eDrive 40 EV charger. Charge times are reasonable at ~ 8.5 hours from empty (does not happen in practice) and ~ 4 1/4 hours from a 50% battery
