Volkswagen eGolf

The e-golf was one of Volkswagens first models into the world of electric vehicles and was a forerunner to the Volkswagen ID.4 in terms of honing its electric vehicle platforms. The early versions of the e-golf had a slightly smaller battery pack at 24.2 kWh but did have large acceptance rates i.e. how quickly you can charge the battery. We receive requests for replacement of broken or damaged e-golf EV chargers.

Recommendation: We recommend level 2 e-golf EV Chargers. If you have existing NEMA 14-30 EV plug (some home do), we recommend our NEMA 14-30 24 amp 5.8 kWh e-golf EV Charger. If not, we recommend a NEMA 14-50 40 amp 9.6 kWh e-golf EV Charger as it will charge at the fastest speed and futureproof you. Charge are times are fast. From an empty battery, the battery will be fully charged in around 3.5 hours to help avoid range anxiety and ensure driving on a more complete charge. From a 50% battery, which happens more in practice, the e-golf will be full charged in around 1 3/4 hours
