The Mercedes E-Class plug-in hybrid is a large executive saloon that’s available in petrol (E 300 e EQ Power) or diesel (E 300 de EQ Power) guises, and both have an all-electric range over 30 miles. It comes with a 13.5 kWh battery. GIven the hourly on-board charging capacity of the battery, we recommend a level 2 EV Charger. Our EV Chargers are light, portable and can be moved if you rent or plan to move house, as well as be used outside of the home where plugs are available e.g RV parks. We receive requests for new and replacement E Class EV Chargers that are broken or damaged. Recommendation: If you want to quickly charge to keep your battery topped up, avoid range anxiety and avoid waiting at commercial charging stations, then a level 1 5-15 EV charger is the best option. It will provide a fast residential charge into a regular 3 pin plug and avoid the costs of an expensive level 2 EV plug installation. Charge times are still very fast. An empty battery will be fully charged in around 3 hours. All our chargers are J1772 compatible to the Mercedes C-Class
