Lexus NX Plug-In Hybrid (6.6 kw charger) EV Chargers

Lexus introduced their Lexus NX Plug in hybrid in late 2021 as it continued to move its range toward electric vehicles. Lexus offered two versions of the vehicle based on the on board charging speed. This version came with a larger 6.6 kWh on board charger, which allows for faster EV charging. We receive requests for replacement or new Lexus NX Plug-in hybrid EV Chargers. It is light, portable and can be moved if you rent or plan to move house, as well as be used outside of the home where plugs are available e.g RV parks.

Recommendation: Given the larger available charging speed, we recommend a level 2 NEMA 14-50 or NEMA 14-30 (thes plugs sometimes are already installed in garages) Lexus NX EV Charger. It will provide the fastest residential charge available and will also futureproof you. Charge times are still the fastest they can be given the battery charge acceptance rate. From an empty battery (happens rarely in practice), the car will be fully charged in around 5 to 6 hours and from a 50% battery (happens more frequently) in 2.5 to 3 hours. All our chargers are J1772 compatible to the Lexus NX.
