The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has hit the U.S. market with huge success. The Ioniq 5 has multiple features including the ability to power electronics, tools and other equipment from the battery. It first arrived in 2022 and has a beautiful exterior styling along with award winning infotainment displays. Many EV owners seek a level 2 EV Charger for their Hyundai Ioniq. The standard 10.9kW on-board charger uses Level 2 charging. Our EV Chargers are light, portable and can be moved if you rent or plan to move house, as well as be used outside of the home where plugs are available e.g RV parks.
Recommendation: We recommend our level 2 NEMA 14-50 (Tesla EV plug) or NEMA 6-50 level 2 EV chargers. The max power 40 amp NEMA 14-50 will provide 9.6kw to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and is the fastest available portable plug-in charger for charging a home or elsewhere. Charging times are very fast. From a 50% battery (in practice when most EV owners charge-up), the car will fully charge in around 3.5 hours.
