The BMW 5 series is the popular BMW series range and BMW brings electrification to this range. There are two main versions with the BMW i5 eDrive40 and the i5 M60 xDrive providing driving ranges of 250 miles to 300 miles, The BMW i5 comes with a based model 87 kWh battery size and has a high acceptance rate (how fast you can charge the car). We provide a range of EV chargers for the BMW i5 eDrive 40 and its sister the BMW i5 M60 xDrive. Recommendation: Given the battery size and charge rate, we recommend our NEMA 14-50 level 2 240 volt BMW i5 EV charger. From a 50% battery (in practice when most owners re-charge), the battery will be fully charged in abour 4 to 5 hours.
