Audi A7 55 TFSI e Quattro

The Audi A7 55 TFSI e Quattro (a plug-in hybrid Audi) was first launched in 2021 but Audi was quick to introduce upgrades from 2022. The battery increases in size slightly from 14.1 KWh to 17.9 kWh, which add combined cycle MPG from 68 to 70 MPGe. The all-electric drive range increases from 24 to 26 miles for all electric driving before the car’s engine kick in. Recommendation: If you drive short distances frequently, like to keep the electric battery topped up and charge quickly, we we would recommend a level 2 EV charger such as a NEMA TOTALEV 14-50 40 amp 9.6 kWh or NEMA 14-30 24 amp EV plug types (14-30s are sometimes already installed in garages). These will also futureproof you as car batteries get bigger. Charger times are faster at <2 hours with a NEMA 14-50 Audi A7 EV charger. A level 1 NEMA 5-15 regular domestic 3 pin residential plug, may work for overnight charging for owners that are not in a rush but charge times will be longer (4-5 hours)
